You can still make 2022 your year.
Is it just me or is 2022 wrapping it up faster than we can catch a break?
A lot has happened this year. We have lived and loved, celebrated and cried. And now we’re freezing. I don’t like the cold. I don’t prosper in the cold. As Dr Ndlozi said, “It’s extremely cold and it’s wrong.”
What’s also wrong is all the evil around us. Like I said, a lot has happened this year. Namibia has been fortunate enough to be a spectator of all the adversary taking place. And we can all attest to how we’ve been affected by this.
With that said, we need to be diligent with all we do. We can no longer love half-heartedly. And I know people say check up on your friends. But when the news blows over, and life gets busy again, we lose sight of one another.
That’s why it’s important to be consistent with our efforts. Schedule or mark dates in your calendars if you have to. Life’s moving at a fast pace, and we don’t know who will make it to the end of the year. So hug your family a little tighter, and tell your friends you love them (make it weird if you have to). My dear friend and sister always says, “If I die today I’m at peace because I’m fulfilled every single day.”
Live on purpose. You can no longer be voiceless, just following and adapting every ideology thrown your way. It’s high time you removed yourself from the mass, the culture, and the trend. Set a vision for yourself and get your priorities in line.
Keep in touch, cultivate healthy relationships, and lead with grace.
